How an engagement starts

Three steps, then a rhythm.

01

Tell us what is behind

Bring the last statements you have, or just the question. We would rather know the file is messy.

02

We name the scope and a fee

Starting prices are on the site. The consultation turns them into a quote before any work begins.

03

The month gets a cadence

Same close, same payroll calendar, same person reading the numbers.

Fit

A good fit

Shops, trades, clinics, studios, and small professional practices that want a person watching the books. One entity is the ordinary starting point. A second entity is a conversation, not a surprise invoice.

A poor fit

If you need an audit, a review, a compilation, or a CPA opinion, this is the wrong practice. We will say so. We also will not pretend a website message is an engagement.

Pricing

Starting points, not a quote.

Questions

Before you write.

Are you a CPA firm?
No. PayPro Accounting does not use the CPA title and does not perform audits, reviews, or compilations. The work is bookkeeping, payroll administration, tax preparation, and plain-language advisory.
Do I need to be in Livonia?
No. The practice is based around Livonia, Detroit, and the rest of metro Detroit, and most of the monthly work happens on a shared file and a call. The first conversation can be in person or remote.
What do you need to start bookkeeping?
Access to the bank and card accounts, the sales system if you have one, and whatever file the books live in today. If that file is behind, say so. Catch-up is quoted separately.
How does payroll work if you do not move the money?
You keep a payroll system. We prepare the run in it and track the tax deposits and forms. Wages move through that system, not through this website.

The first conversation is a consultation, not a contract. Mohamad Berry reads what you send.
